Deliveries during the Christmas and New Year period?

The last delivery date before Christmas and New Year in 2020 is the 23rd of December for the Auckland region and the 21st of December for the rest of the North Island. Orders placed after these dates are going to be processed and delivered after the 5th of January 2021

 

Is there a minimum order value?

The minimum purchase value is NZ$25.00. This allows us to offer fixed shipping costs and makes sure we cover other basic costs such as order processing, stock receiving, pick and pack and packaging materials.

 

Where does Leonard’s deliver to?

Leonard’s offers overnight home delivery across New Zealand North Island. Unfortunately, this doesn’t include rural areas or PO Boxes.

Leonard’s is also working on establishing a national delivery, but we first have to make sure it is safe and cost effective before we offer it to our customers.

 

When will my order to arrive?

Leonard’s is committed to your satisfaction, we work very hard to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible.

If the order is placed before 11:00am, we will deliver your products the next business day. Orders that are placed after 11:00am, will be delivered within two working days. We do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. We will send out orders only when the payment is received.

Delivery times are highly dependent on your location and local transport services in your local area. We aim to deliver to all metro areas before 2:30pm each day and as late as 4:30pm for all outer areas, but these times are a guide only.

 

Delivery instructions

Please take every effort to include the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.

If you are not going to be at home for your delivery, it is extremely important that you include detailed instructions at the time of ordering about where to leave your goods. In cases where there is no one to receive the parcel(s), our courier is instructed to leave your delivery in a safe place. If unable to do so, the parcel will be returned to Leonard’s, however, we are not obliged to re-send the order at our expense.

 

How will my order be packed?

All our orders are delivered in a special temperature-controlled packaging. You can confidently order Leonard’s products to be delivered to either your work or home address, knowing that they will be safely chilled until you can refrigerate them again. If you are not cooking the products right away, please make sure to refrigerate them within 8 hours of receiving your order and as soon as you open the box.

 

Sometimes things don’t go to plan

Occasionally, circumstances occur which could add another day or two to these times. If this occurs, we will endeavour to communicate any delay to you as soon as possible. Once goods are dispatched, we rely on our independent courier transportation network to deliver.

 

What shipping charge will apply to my order?

Your shipping charge will be calculated once your shipping address is entered. These rates may change from time to time. On occasion, we may also have promotions where we offer additional discounts on shipping.

 

What does the shipping charge cover?

Shipping costs includes more than just the cost of postage. Costs include order processing and stock receiving, pick and pack, packaging materials, and postage.

Postage costs vary by weight and/or cubic metre, and delivery location, however we do not pass on the whole of this cost to you, our customer.

Leonard’s is committed to you, our customer, and we want you to be happy with your Leonard’s experience. If for any reason you are not happy, please email orders@leonards.co.nz You will receive a phone call from our staff within two business days in order to find a solution to your problem.

 

What if I change my mind, can I get a refund?

Due to the high cost of postage, we are unfortunately not able to offer you a refund or product exchange if you change your mind about your purchase or you decide the product you ordered is no longer suitable or not to your liking.

However please let us know your feedback as we would hate to lose you as a customer!

 

Out of stock?

Sometimes if you request a replacement product the item may be out of stock. In this case we will either provide you with store credit for that item that you can use next time you place an order with Leonard’s or in some cases a full refund will be issued.

 

Some things can’t be helped

We reserve the right to cancel any order, at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or phone number/s provided. We will refund the money paid using the original method received. All orders are subject to availability of stock and we undertake to take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are bona fide prior to processing of orders.
